1. For orders outside of Thailand:
What is the course of an order like?
After receiving your inquiry we will send you an actual information about the product price.
If you want to make your concrete order afterwards, please consider the factor of a minimum order value of 1000 € or 1500 U.S. Dollars (= pure product price without packing or transport).
What do the product prices on your list include?
The prices given by us are the selling prices "ex-works" or "ex-factory" (Packing and transport excluded).
We can arrange all external services for you.
How much are the costs for packing, transport and shipping?
On your request we can obtain an offer for you from reliable cargo companies in Thailand, including all services to transport the goods to the destination harbor (external service). You are also welcome to arrange this by yourself if you like. It is partly cheaper to organize this for example from Europe.
Please also take into account (especially private customers):
The share of the dispatch costs is substantially higher for single products than at larger order quantities.
Example calculation for a pavilion (non-committal details):
The dispatch and freight charges depend on the freight volume and on the destination of the delivery. For an individual order (e.g. to Europe) costs in the amount of 500 to 800 Euros (750 - 1200 U.S. Dollars) arise depending on the type of the pavilion and on the destination port. An essential reduction of the costs can be reached at a larger order quantity by the use of shipping containers. Up to 8 pavilions can be transported in one 20 ft container. This means that the transport costs for one pavilion can be reduced to approx. 350 € (525 U.S. Dollars) for one piece.
How is the business concluded, which securities?
At purchase handling by Garden of Asia Ltd: The products are getting produced after you have placed your order. The Thai manufacturers start the production after receiving a payment of 50 % of the product price from us. This is a regular custom in Thailand. You can transfer money by Paypal (after previous agreement) or by sending the amount to our account in Thailand. We can also offer a way of payment to a European account after previous agreement, if this is easier to handle for you.
This payment goes directly to the Thai manufacturer. After completion of the production process we check the product quality on the spot and give you a picture documentation. As far as possible for you, you are welcome to inspect the produced good/s also personally on the spot (after previous agreement on deadline). Before getting dispatched, the second amount of 50 % has to be paid. This procedure is necessary, because the Thai producer expects to receive the second payment of 50 % after finishing the product.
We guarantee a fast and reliable handling of your order. At all appearing problems we will be available at your disposal.
How about the import regulations in my country?
Please inform yourself about the import regulations in your country. We are not able to request the import determinations for all countries in the world. For the import of goods different costs like port charges, customs duties and turnover tax on imports can be surcharged.
These regulations vary from country to country.
Which delivery time do I have to expect?
The delivery duration depends on the size of your order, on the production time for the ordered goods and on the duration of the transport.
For example at order of a pavilion: After placing your order to the producer it lasts till the pavilion is finished approx. 2-3 weeks. The delivery time depends on the country of destination. To destinations in Europe for example it lasts normally around 4 weeks.
For large orders we will first contact the producer to give you more detailed informations about the manufacturing duration.
Which guarantee of quality?
The products are from select manufacturers, the quality of the products is checked by us regularly on the spot.
Which export certificates?
Origin guarantee for wood products, export permits are enclosed.
Can one build up the offered framehouses or pavilions without problem by himself?
The assembling of a wooden house by oneself (for example house Lotus) is relatively difficult and requires good craftsmanship. The individual components are indicated (building plan). Wooden houses and pavilions are produced to the so-called "knockdown concept" suitable for a "do it yourself assembling". The assembling of the pavilions shouldn't be a problem (individual components are indicated, a building plan is attached) with a little manual dexterity.
